About Super Vision Optical
Since 1952
Super Vision Optical was born from a singular passion to bring the world's finest eyewear to those who appreciate exceptional quality and craftsmanship. What started as a hobby and passion for collecting exclusive eyewear pieces, has grown over seven decades into on of the largest vintage eyewear collections in the world and one of the most respected names in designer and vintage eyewear in the country.
Ours is a family story spanning over two generations. Our founder's interest in vision and eyewear began in his childhood, a lifelong obsession that would eventually lead him to build one of the most extraordinary eyewear collections in the world. During the 1980s, he established himself in the optical industry and, over the following decades, grew it into a full-service institution with a reputation for superior quality and excellence in customer service that spread far beyond its original home.
Today, the second generation of the founding family leads Super Vision Optical. Kam Silani grew up surrounded by the world's greatest eyewear, learning the craft from the ground up alongside his father. He carries the business forward with the same standard of excellence that has defined SVO for over 70 years, while also bringing his own vision to a new generation of collectors and enthusiasts.
SVO continues to have direct relationships with the world's greatest manufacturers and distributors and has built a catalog that simply cannot be replicated. New old stock, never worn, sourced directly from the brands who made them.
